What I do for nesma
As Operations Manager at nesma, I am responsible for developing and enhancing the operational processes to support the growth and success of our students, tutors, and courses. A key focus of my role is implementing our Learning Management System (LMS), which provides students with greater flexibility, especially with the new CIM syllabus. I also manage the onboarding of tutors and students, ensuring a smooth and supportive start for everyone. Behind the scenes, I work with colleagues to continuously improve the learning experience, broaden our portfolio, and introduce new courses. Additionally, I play a key role in optimising our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system and marketing automation processes, ensuring we maintain strong relationships with our customers and deliver exceptional service.
Background
With over 30 years of experience spanning service, sales, marketing, IT, and operations, I bring a well-rounded perspective to nesma. My career includes time at Sage, where I gained valuable insights into managing complex business challenges. I also earned a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing while balancing full-time work and family responsibilities, giving me a deep understanding of the demands faced by our students. This qualification advanced my career and instilled in me the importance of lifelong learning in a constantly evolving world.
