nesma will start teaching the new CIPR Professional PR Diploma from September 2018 in our study centres in Newcastle, Edinburgh, Carlisle and Glasgow. This master’s level course will enable you to evaluate a wide range of PR concepts and techniques, as well as giving you the opportunity to apply these practices to your own sector of work.

The new syllabus is based on professional practice, underpinned by core PR principles, models and concepts. The three units will incorporate PR strategy and the planning process, communication and engagement, and the leadership of PR activities, with an added emphasis on the management of projects or campaigns. The course will also be underpinned by references to the ethics and code of conduct surrounding each concept.

This qualification is the perfect choice for you, if you’re already an experienced PR professional, if you’re ready to progress towards a senior management position or if you have studied a previous CIPR qualification. On successful completion of the three units, students are awarded a CIPR Professional PR Diploma, which depending on the time of enrolment, could be within as little as 10 – 12 months.

Studying this qualification with nesma will mean that you get small class sizes, flexible teaching and a relaxed working environment. The course also gives you 60 CPD points, which can be logged towards becoming an Accredited Public Relations Practitioner or a Chartered Public Relations Practitioner.
