My background

I have more than a decade of hands-on experience working in a variety of marketing management roles across the public and private sectors. I am also a committee member of the North East branch of the Chartered Institute of Marketing. My two young daughters tend to keep my pretty busy but, when time allows, I love reading, creative writing and running in the rain.

My particular skills and experience

My professional experience to date includes the leisure industry, higher education, professional services and transport.

I revel in sharing learning with students who want to learn. I love my students and their continuing ability to amaze me.
